The Outing

Uncle Jack and Less jumped into the car
Less wanted to know if they would go far
The traveled awhile and stopped for lunch
and munched on the good food Mama Tess made
Then it was time to be on there way
Because they were going to the bay
As they drove they started to sing
After awhile, Less fell asleep
And there was not a peep
Finally, they stopped at the bay
and it was time for a fun day.
It was time for Less to wake up
Less looked all around and with a big smile,
said,"Go,Unc Yack!" and so they did.
They strolled on the sand and found some shells
that went into the sack.
The sea gulls were flying and they ran with the gulls.
Less and his Uncle Jack built sand castles and sand pies
and used some of the shells on top of the tower.
They were there for many hours
And it was time to go back home.
As they walked to the car
Less took Uncle Jack's hand and said,
"Thank you, Unc Yack!"
As he said that, Uncle Jack held
Less up high and placed him on
his shoulders and they went back to the car.

The Party

Another birthday was coming and Uncle Jack was here
Who's party you may ask?
Why it is Baby Less's number 2!
This time the guest were few
Mama Tess, Papa Wess, and Uncle Jack
They decided to give Less a special treat
They thought why not try a Burger King Burger.
The foursome arrived at the Burger Place and
Ordered a small burger for the birthday boy
Oh! what joy!
As Less took a bite one big bite,
He yelled out,"Good, More!"
Jack ordered some fries, and gave them
to Less. With the ketchup and fries
There was a mess.
Then it was time to head on home
For the cake was made and a big surprise!
They sat down to wait for Mama Tess to
Bring the cake in and out came the singing
Happy Birthday to you!
The cake was so yummy and went all in their tummy
Next was time for Less's surprise.
Outside they all went and to his surprise
Out in the back was his very own swing set and a slide.
Baby Less ran over and gave them all a hug
And went by the swing with a big smile on his face
And said,"Up

The Sack

Uncle Jack ran with all his might to the kitchen
To munch on eggs and bacon
Baby Less stayed behind and looked and looked
at the green sack
He knew he should not touch it, or move it,
or even try to pick it up
So, he thought he would wait until breakfast was done
Then he found out that this was no fun
And he was getting hungry.
Less made his way to the kitchen for some bacon
But, it was all taken
When Uncle Jack saw his face, he knew it was time
for the surprise in the sack
Uncle Jack placed the sack in front of Baby Less
And helped him open the sack
When the sack came open, Less was so happy
As well as his hungry tummy
He saw his favorite snack-Chips and Dip!
He jumped up and down and kissed his Uncle on the cheek
Uncle Jack said,"There's more."
Less looked again. Right before his eyes was a
smalll grey stuffed kitten
Less sat on the floor and wanted to eat his chips
and dip with his new stuffed kitten, Mitten.

Less's Joy

When the morning light became a glow
Less stood up on his toes
He could not believe his eyes
As Less was jumping up and down
He shouted,"OOO! Yeee! His Uncle Jack
had arrived!
Jack heard the noise and reached out to Less
And said,"Come here, my boy!"
Tess and Wess heard the noise
And came to see the joy that filled the room
They all danced a merry tune.
Less saw the sack that Uncle Jack had
He wanted to open the sack right then and there
But, Mama Tess had plans all made
It was time for Jack's favorite breakfast
Eggs and Bacon.
So, Less had to wait to view the sack
And knew in awhile that they would be back.

Less and The Guest

The Guest was gone for some time
So, Mama Tess and Papa Wess thought they would
check to see if he was fine
The house was big with lots of rooms
So the search took some time
Finally, they reached the room down the hall
And in that room they saw Baby Less with
the guest who was so tall
It was a precious sight to see them resting side by side
Tess and Wess turned out the light
And let them rest until the morning light
They will wait for Less to awake!
Oh! What a sight!

The Guest Hug

The hug at the door went on for a long long time
Less kept watching Mama and Papa hug this guest
with all their might
Less wondered if they would continue through
the night because it was a sight
They kept hugging and looking and saying,
Wow! You look great! I'm so glad you are here!
Little Less decided to leave and go to his room
He hoped they would let him see the guest soon
Baby Less decided to play with his toys
And got tired and started to rest
It seemed like a long time, but only awhile
Into the room, went the guest, he didn't want
to wake Baby Less, so he gave him a kiss with
his arm around Less he laid down to rest.
What a surprise it will be when the baby rises
to see who is resting beside.

The Guest

Less knows the guest will be arriving soon
and Mama said it would be at noon
Less starts to make drawings with crayons and pens
and puts them up all over the room for the guest who is arriving soon
Mama made a special dinner
That will be winner
She also has baked a cake and made some cookies
Oh! how good it smells.
Then all of a sudden, Less hears a loud voice cry out,
Oh! you are here!
Less comes running and all he could see was Mama Tess
And Papa Wess hugging the guest.
Less jumped up and down and clapped his hands for finally
the guest had arrived.

The Guest

Wess, Tess,and Less are singing a merry tune
Their favorite guest will be arriving soon
The special room is all ready for his arrival
Clean sheets on the bed and clean towels are ready
Less even placed on the bed his favorite teddy
Mama Tess went shopping for all the yummy treats
That her guest likes so well
The fridge is stocked with eggs and bacon
On the first morning, that is what Tess will be maken
In the cupboards you see chips and dip
That is so yummy
Less wants it in his tummy
The family is starting to count
as the days start to mount
It will be a happy day when the
favorite guest comes around.

Father's Day

Less is a happy boy
and full of joy
He had a very special Dad
He made him a drawing with paint
and glitter and wrapped it in tissue paper
Less helped his Mama Tess make a chocolate cake
and they let it bake
When it was ready the icing was white and sweet
The cake could not be beat because it was a special treat
The time came for the cake and gift
Papa Wess gave Less a big lift
and said,"I am so lucky to have a wonderful boy
to share my joy!"
Papa Wess gave Less a big Hug and a Kiss.
