Words can not express the feelings that I posses
Upon learning of your fate
We knew each other as co-workers
Working side by side each and every day
We discussed the ideas we had to make our classrooms work.
Your love for teaching and creative ways adorned your
Room each day.
When you received the Award for
The Most Creative Classroom you
proudly put it on the wall
I couldn't help, but notice a
beautiful smile came upon your face.
I hope you know how special you were
to all the lives you touched.
Sarah, you will not be forgotten.

Blessed

So lucky to have you by my side
The heart misses you when you are not near
Knowing that you will return brings a warm
glow to my heart
We raise our glasses to our happiness and love.

You and Me

You and Me we are a team
Oh! So grateful is thee
A problem did occur in our
little dwelling.
Together we took a look
We talked about what we
thought must be done.
With each other side by side
the thing that needed to be
fixed is up and running now.
You and Me we are a team!

The Decision

Last night, you told me where you will go
You said you couldn't talk for long, but an
earful I did get.
The place you chose was the beautiful place
we called home.
The other part was quite a blow.
Their fate was no surprise it was predicted
long ago.
The hubby he did say perhaps he is not
ready to really be on his own.
Believe me, when I say if this place
brings you a new freshness and joy
you know that I am with you whatever
you decide.
As for me,that black cloud still remains.

The Journey

Oh! Where Oh! Where will you go
There are many doors open for you
I know your are selecting very carefully
For this is where you will stay
Not forever as you say, but just to
get you started and on your way.
Continue to reach for the stars
and your dreams will come through
I have faith and confidence that
all will be good for you!

Where Ever You May Go

You said you might go back to where
we call home
The place that is so dear
You said you were not ready to leave
but circumstances made you move
and some closure you will need
My feelings are right with you
There were circumstances that
brought me to do the same
Upon a time my visits were
a strain, but I came for you
And tried to forget the rest.
Always knowing in my heart that
this was a special and beautiful
place.
Now if you choose to go back
a freeness will be present
and the feeling that I had long
ago will come back very strong
But, you must know where ever you go,
I will be visiting you
with a smile upon my face.

A Feeling

There was a feeling in the heart
That was just not right
In the car my feet did go
to explore the surrondings
and the sights.
Much to my surprise things were
not as they appeared to be
the first time around.
The Homestead still was nice
Now with the reality of it all
looming in my mind
I have to say my heart
Said, NO!
To my hubby, I did go.
To tell him of my woes.
He rightly understood
So, now our pledge to
Each other as we seek to
Find it.
Is to use more care and caution
to what is all around us
The feeling of what is right
should bring a glow and warmth
that continues to surround us.

Dreams

My days are filled with love
comfort and joy
It feels like it is a dream
One day I will wake up and it
all will be true.
That I do have you.
Each day I am so grateful
that I found you.

A Friend's Advice

Now is the time to look and sort
Do I want this or that
Holding on to what is so dear
Often as I look a pause comes upon
my mind and I sit and stare
at what is in my hands
Wondering,What shall I do?
A friend of mine once said, If
you need to pause the only thing
to do is just Toss!
So, my friend, I will try so hard
to take the advice of you, my friend.

My Favorite

They are my favorite
As long as I can remember
To me they signify love
and romance.
When spotted in a field my
desire is to always run
and sit down among them
Having them in a garden
or enjoying them as a bouquet
Brings an abundance of warmth
and my face becomes a glow
I have always wanted
them to adorn me on my
wedding day.
Happily they did.

Found It

We looked and looked
High and low
Here there and everywhere
Big places little places
and places in between
Old ones and new places
Then in all came down to one
The one place we now
Will call our own!

My Dear, Dear Friend

I know your presence surrounds me
I think of you quite often
At times, when I pass by our
favorite hangouts, a smile comes upon my face.
I do often think of what you would say
or how you would feel about how life has been.
Your windchimes still adorn the outside of my house.
The ringing of the chimes lets me know you still
are near.
There was a time when I heard your voice
ring out in the night.
It was so comforting and I reached out a hand.
The night before my wedding, your voice rang out
loud and clear.
I know you were there to say hello and tell me
about your happiness.
I didnot reach out my hand, but you should know
your presence still abounds me.

Friends

There are those who come into our lives
like the candle in the wind
Knowing them will be reminders
that you knew them in a different time and place
Moving on makes them unknown as the time passes on
Then there are those who are there only for the
happy or sad times. True they are not.
The kind that you want are those who
are there for always-no matter what.
The best and cherish ones are the ones
who remain in your heart from a distance
The passing time makes no difference,
you just pick up where you left off.
Let's not forget the ones who have passed.
They stay in our hearts long after their gone.
