There are those who come into our lives
like the candle in the wind
Knowing them will be reminders
that you knew them in a different time and place
Moving on makes them unknown as the time passes on
Then there are those who are there only for the
happy or sad times. True they are not.
The kind that you want are those who
are there for always-no matter what.
The best and cherish ones are the ones
who remain in your heart from a distance
The passing time makes no difference,
you just pick up where you left off.
Let's not forget the ones who have passed.
They stay in our hearts long after their gone.

Yes, there are certain people that will be in our hearts always. My father died 20 years ago,he will always be with me. A dear, dear friend passed away 3 years ago, and I think of her everyday.
